NCTD is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt organization and is recognized by United Way. NCTD has an operating budget to pay for essential support for our volunteers and to assure that we can provide quality services for our facilities and clients. NCTD provides continuing education training at no cost to our volunteers. We encourage our volunteers to participate in seminars and conferences relating to AAA/T. As our budget permits, we reimburse the volunteers for some or all of the expenses that they incur.
