NCTD Goals and Objectives

To provide unconditional love to patients and shut-ins through obedient, trained dogs of sound temperament with caring and sensitive handlers.
To provide training and socialization for participating dog and handler teams to assure patient safety and quality therapy.
To promote animal-assisted activity and therapy concepts and provide public education and exposure.
To participate in AAA/T programs promoted by national organizations such as the Delta Society.
To have fun!
