NCTD Registration

If you wish to visit with NCTD, please complete and submit an NCTD Team Profile form. Please include a copy of your Delta Pet Partners registration confirmation when you submit your form.

If you filled out this form when you passed your team screening, you do not need to submit another copy; however, please submit a copy of your Delta Pet Partners registration confirmation when you receive it.

When we receive your profile, you will be added to our volunteer roster and to our E-mail mailing list. We communicate with our volunteers through a combination of E-mail messages, phone calls, web site information, and "The Caring Canine Chronicle", our newsletter.

NCTD asks that handlers purchase a shirt with the NCTD logo.  While not required, it helps us maintain a professional image.  Otherwise, be neat, clean, and comfortable.

Animals

There are two choices for the animal's uniform:

  1. The first is a standard green harness, available at most pet stores

  2. The second option is to purchase a Pet Partner vest, available directly from Delta Society. (The vest can be found in the "Members Only" section of the Delta Web Site.

Other components of the uniform:

  • The "NCTD Photo ID" tag, which you will receive for attending an Open Floor.
  • The NCTD collar tag.
  • Your dog's Pet Partner (collar) tag.
  • Optional: Attach your Pet Partner Photo ID to your harness or vest. (The Delta photo ID must be either with you or your animal when visiting.)
  • An acceptable collar and leash (per Delta Society Pet Partner guidelines) for your animal.
