This class serves as an introduction to National Capital Therapy Dogs and provides an overview of the organization, training process, therapy visits, and other information for the human part of a therapy dog team. The course will help ensure that you and your dog are ready to begin the therapy dog training classes.

Completion of the Volunteer Training Course is a prerequisite to beginning the therapy dog training classes.

The Volunteer Training Course must be completed at least two weeks prior to the start of the therapy dog training classes that you are registered for.

Location: This is a self-guided class that you may complete anywhere you have access to a computer.

Cost: $25
